What kind of work do you undertake?

We undertake expert witness report writing for civil clinical negligence matters involving
physiotherapists at any stage of the complaint and/or litigation process.

How do you accept instructions?

In writing only following a Letter of Approach. Please contact us for our correspondence
address.

Who do you work with?

Solicitors and barristers who represent either claimants or defendants.

Do you accept all instructions?

No. We decline any instructions that are not within our expertise or where any actual or
potential conflict of interest exists.

Do you work directly with clients/patients to write reports?

No. We need to be formally instructed by a solicitor to accept cases.

Are you properly qualified?

Yes. I hold the Cardiff University Bond Solon Accredited Expert Witness (civil) certificate and
undertake regular continuing professional development.

Are you properly registered?

Yes. I am registered with, and regulated by, The Health and Care Professions Council.

Are you insured?

Yes. I have appropriate levels of medical malpractice (including expert witness work),
professional indemnity and public liability insurance to meet mandatory regulatory
requirements. Copies of my indemnity certificates can be provided on request.

What are your Terms of Business?

We have a comprehensive Terms of Business document that sets out our working
relationship with you, including our fees. We will send you our Terms of Business and answer
any specific business-term questions you have following receipt of a Letter of Approach.
