We are a physiotherapist expert witness business for civil litigation clinical negligence cases involving physiotherapists.
REPORTING
We provide initial advisory notes, desktop Breach of Duty of reports and Liability reports. Reports are compliant with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules, the accompanying Practice Direction and the Guidance for the instruction of experts in civil claims. We comply with the 2019 Academy of Royal Colleges Guidance “Acting as an expert witness: Guidance for Healthcare Professionals”. We control data in accordance with the 2018 General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) are registered with the ICO.

EXPERTISE
We accept both claimant and defendant instructions. We have been properly trained in expert witness work and hold the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate. As well as desk-top reporting, we answer any physiotherapy questions you have about your case preparation, contribute to case conference meetings with Counsel, undertake Experts’ meetings and attend case trials.
TRAINING
We are happy to visit your workplace, training day or conference to provide continuing professional development (CPD) to both physiotherapy departments and/or clinical negligence legal teams. We can provide training on a variety of medicolegal issues for physiotherapy teams and for legal teams, we can help you understand what physiotherapy is, the range of work physiotherapists undertake and where the issues in physiotherapy practice may occur. We provide in-service training for physiotherapy and legal departments on medicolegal issues in physiotherapy.
